How to Install & Activate Your Travel eSIM
Follow our step-by-step instructions to install your Vynk eSIM via QR code on iPhone or Android in under 2 minutes. Connect effortlessly as soon as you land.
Before You Begin: 2 Quick Checks
- ✓ Stable Wi-Fi: Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi before scanning the QR code.
- ✓ Carrier-Unlocked Phone: Ensure your phone is not locked to a specific telecom contract (check compatible devices here).
Open Cellular Settings
Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) and tap Add eSIM.
Scan Your QR Code
Select Use QR Code and point your camera at the QR code in your Vynk confirmation email.
Label Your eSIM
When prompted, label the cellular plan as "Travel" or "Vynk" so it is easy to identify.
Turn on Roaming on Arrival
When you land at your destination, select Vynk as your Cellular Data line and switch Data Roaming to ON.
Open SIM Manager
Go to Settings > Connections (or Network & Internet) > SIM Manager.
Add Mobile Plan / Scan QR
Tap Add eSIM (or Download a SIM) and scan the QR code from your confirmation email.
Confirm & Download
Tap Add or Confirm to download the eSIM carrier profile to your device.
Enable Mobile Data & Roaming
Once you arrive abroad, set Vynk as your Primary Mobile Data SIM and ensure Data Roaming is enabled.
